The European Commission is launching a new pilot initiative called Erasmus For Pets. The most popular exchange programme is expanding to our furry friends, dogs. Just days ago, The European Commission confirmed to continue Erasmus programme and triple the funds for student mobility, which will take effect on 2021.  Erasmus For Pets, however, will start this year, and applications for the project will follow soon.

Head of Unit Pet Mobility, Mathieu Orphanides, says "the Commission has always had the ambition to make Eramus+ bigger and more inclusive", and if the pilot project succeeds, the idea is to expand the programme to cats.
